Are Home Prices Rising in Denver?

If you are BUYING or SELLING in South Metro Denver you need to know that the real estate market has changed over the last YEAR. Find out how in the Metro Denver Real Estate Newsletter.

September 2022 EXCERPT:

Depending on the metric used to evaluate home prices, the average home price has dropped 8% to 10% from the high recorded in April 2022.  If you take away the crazy April month, home prices have fallen between 6% to 8% since the March/May prices.  The price drop sounds scary, but home prices are still above the February 2022 price.  It is never a positive to have home prices falling, but prices shot up so drastically in March and April that it is important to keep in perspective that home prices are still up year over year substantially and still higher than in January and February of this year.
